Hello, friends! This past month, we got to spend several weekends doing what we love most: getting out into the community and having conversations with our neighbors!
On April 13th, we punctuated the middle of the week with “Pizza with Park,” dining in at Cabbage Pie to feast on some fine pizza and meet more members of our community.
On April 25th, we broke from the Monday rush for “Policy with Park” and met at the Metropolitan Library to have an in-depth discussion about the state budget, what excites (and concerns) us about it, and what our community wants from it.
And on April 27th, we celebrated Earth Day with “Picnic with Park!” We gathered in Central Park with fine food and refreshing drinks to settle in for some more conversation. It was nice to be able to see our friends in a less formal setting, but that didn’t stop us from having serious talks about issues facing District 58, and Atlanta at large.
